Guide to spy your kid without computer knowledge need!

There are many different types of computer monitoring software. Some types allow you to record everything typed. Some allow you to record every website visited. Others allow you to record instant messaging and chat room conversations. The programs run in the background, so unless your child knows you have them, they will likely not even know they are being monitored. But I found most of them are feature complicated, and with many options to setup or configure. So it’s a challenge for us parents to spy our kids’ behaviors.

Today I want to give a guide to the parents who has little computer knowledge but want to track your kids activity.

Step 1: Free download a key logger

Step 2: Install the key logger software.

Double-Click the setup program to install the program in the PC which you want to monitor.

This software installs easily and effortlessly, and NO trace in Add/Remove Programs, Start menu, Applications, and Desktop

Step 3: Configure the Key Logger Option

After the installation is completed, the program will be auto launched, you will see a registration prompt popup window. Now, let’s click the “try” button to continue evaluating the program.

Making the necessary configuration settings should be an easy job as there is little to set up and the defaults work great. The software provides two main monitoring options, taking timed screenshots and keystrokes recording which, combined, can give you a strong hint on the activities your computer was used for. You could also set the time interval after which the program would take screen shots.

You get to define the locations for storing this data and you can even choose to hide the location (registered). By doing this, there are little chances for someone to find the location and delete the recordings, as it hidden even in Windows Explorer, and changing the default location will definitely keep the files protected.

Step 4: Start Monitor

After you finish the configure, you just click the “Apply” button to save the setting and click the “Yes” button to start the monitoring software.

So this software is monitoring and recording the PC activities in background.

Step 5: See the Log files

By default, is locating at C:\Program Files\allsm\data.
Take MSN and Skype conversation for an example, let’s open the “data” store folder.

We found a txt file named as system data, and then open it.

The txt file just record what the user typed in MSN and Skype conversation.

Summary

That’s all my personal experience, I feel the most outstanding advantage of this software is: Easy to configure and log everything you want to monitor.

It monitors and records all the activity on the computer(s) that you own, such as the addresses and content of email, chat room and IM messages. In addition, you can discover what websites have been accessed as well as a list of keyword searches.
